YOUR FUTURE ROLE

We are looking for a passionate paid media expert to manage our paid media account management function. In this role you will lead a team of Global Integrated Media Account Managers to activate paid media campaigns aligned to a solution, brand or event. One of the primary functions for this role is to support delivery of the global paid media programs, by driving optimisations on both the SAP and agency side. You will be able to understand and interpret the global paid media plans developed by the Account Directors and have technical experience of running these programs.

This role leads a team of Account Managers based across a number of locations globally. You will be tasked with encouraging a collaborative, positive and psychologically safe team culture. You should lead with empathy and compassion and clearly communicate your vision and expectations, whilst supporting the Senior Director of Integrated Media (who leads the team of Account Directors). You will seek out opportunities to drive transformational change, where paid media processes and outputs can be improved, creating positive impact on the results and ultimately the business.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in digital marketing.
  • Experience working in a Global team and managing across global time zones (APJ through NA)
  • You lead with empathy and compassion and care to create a positive and psychologically safe team culture.
  • As an expert stakeholder manager, you successfully demonstrate strong communication and organization skills.
  • You have strong experience managing global paid media programs and leading the people who activate and optimize those campaigns.
  • You understand how paid media fits into the integrated marketing mix and can think end-to-end and customer-first.
  • You will have capably managed paid media agencies on a global scale; across multiple MUs and languages.
  • You are able to demonstrate experience of driving transformation within a paid media organization.
  • You have a digital-first mindset and can demonstrate this in the paid media programs and teams you have helped guide.
  • You can demonstrate coaching and supporting people; to drive success on both an individual, team and company-wide level.
  • You have excellent technical understanding of all paid media channels.
  • You have a passion for content and the important of paid media messaging + customer journeys.
  • You are collaborative, positive and drive change with passion and at pace.

ABOUT THE TEAM

The Integrated Media Team (IMT) develops and owns SAP's global paid media strategy and is responsible for delivering successful integrated media programs at scale, in partnership with our agency-of-record (OMD).

A truly global org, the IMT spans; APJ, GC, Japan, EMEA /MEE, LAC and NA with specialists in region within SAP and on the agency-side. This specialist team leads global paid media planning, execution, and optimisation to deliver always-on performance marketing.

As a team of experts, the IMT is knowledgeable and has deep experience of running paid media campaigns and stays on-top of industry advancements, to ensure SAP is innovating to help drive performance. The IMT integrates across Acquisition & Omnichannel Marketing to support building cohesive, customer-first, channel strategies and collaborates closely with other teams across SAP, including being a close partner to the Integrated Marketing Programs and Brand Awareness teams.

The IMT is responsible for driving partnership with key platforms, including owning relationships and managing our Paid Media Agency of Record (OMD), LinkedIn and Google.

LOCATION

This is a Global role and can be based in other locations outside of NYC, including across North America and EMEA.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is ,200(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
