SUMMARY OF POSITION - This position will be responsible for a wide variety of financial and accounting duties, including assisting in the execution of the Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable processes and daily reconciliations. This position will also assist in the preparation of a variety of internal and external reporting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:
  1. Assist in daily and weekly Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.
  2. Participate in game day Cash Room & various aspects of running Cash Room.
  3. Prepare analysis of various general ledger accounts, explaining changes in business conditions.
  4. Maintain schedules and supporting documentation related to various revenue and expenses, including team travel and sponsorship.
  5. Review and record daily bank transactions and report any discrepancies.
  6. Maintain accounting records for all work completed in an orderly, functional manner.
  7. Participate in the preparation and timely delivery of accurate, high quality internal and external financial reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty at a high level on a consistent basis. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required that are critical to successful job performance.
REQUIREMENTS - Candidates must meet the following requirements:
  • Graduated with Bachelor's in Accounting, or at least took enough accounting classes/real world experience outside of college to successfully complete these accounting tasks.
  • Strong accounting and Microsoft Excel skills as well as a strong knowledge of GAAP.
  • Detail and deadline oriented.
  • Solid interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to effectively and professionally communicate with all departments and all levels of personnel.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment.
  • Ability and willingness to work non-standard hours, including weekend and evening work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Outlook, etc.
