Job Title:

Corporate Sustainability Program Manager

Job Description:

Why work at Entegris?

At Entegris, we use advanced science to enable technologies that transform the world, and we are seeking employees who have the drive to continue that mission.

Lead. Inspire. Innovate. Define Your Future.

Not everyone who works for a global company shares the same background, experiences, and perspectives. We leverage the differences of our employees to bring new ideas to the table. Every employee throughout the company is encouraged to share input on projects and initiatives. Our decision-making process is truly a collaborative effort as we realize there are leaders at every level of the organization. We put our values at the core of how we operate as an organization — not just when it's convenient, but in a lasting and meaningful way. We want the time and energy you spend here to have a positive impact on your life inside and outside of the office.

Entegris is a values-driven culture, and our employees rally around our core PACE values:

People

Accountability
Creativity
Excellence

The Role:

Entegris is seeking an experienced Corporate Sustainability Program Manager to lead and implement short and long-term projects and/or strategies that improve the sustainability of our work and organization. As part of the Global Sustainability Team, the new hire will work with teams around our global foot print to limit the impact that our operations have on the environment. This will include reducing the consumption of energy and water, supporting work to optimize the circularity of materials, and shifting our operations away from GHG-emitting processes. This Corporate Support level position is remote but can include up to 20% travel to our various factory locations.

What you will do:

  • Create, lead, and maintain a global strategy to reduce, on an ongoing basis, the utility demands of Entegris' manufacturing facility including but not limited to electricity, water, and natural gas consumption.
  • Facilitate and support site-based Sustainability teams through coaching and development of Sustainably concepts and standards.
  • Utilize various tools and software to monitor sustainability indicators and data, such as energy, reclaimed water, potable water conservation and waste generation, and recycling. Evaluate the efficacy of sustainability programs; recommend and implement improvements as necessary.
  • Facilitate site assessments to identify resource conservation measures (architectural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) at existing and new Entegris facilities. Provide the necessary leadership and motivation to keep projects on track and aligned with the overall 2030 CSR goals.
  • Support site teams to develop energy and water reduction and optimization projects. Facilitate the sharing of best practices from site to site. Research and promote industry best practices for energy, water, waste, and emission reductions.
  • Provide standards for preparing technical analysis/cost justification for Sustainability related to project and product development and execution. Project manage multiple initiatives, set expectations, and produce deliverables that adhere to timeline, budget, and quality standards. Ensure consistent and auditable reporting and tracking of improvement projects.
  • Lead the Life Cycle Analysis Program to assess the environmental impacts associated with all stages of a product or process, from raw material extraction through production, use, and disposal.
  • Create awareness campaigns and periodic company-wide communications that assist in improving overall Sustainability.
  • Stay abreast of relevant environmental standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance.

What we seek:

  • Proven track record of successfully championing sustainability goals and facilitating improvements at the site and corporate level.
  • 5-10+ years' experience working in a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) organization or similar related experience at the industry level.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, or other energy-related engineering field.
  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification obtained through the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) and or CEP Certified Energy Procurement Professional strongly preferred.
  • Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP) certification obtained through the Green Building Council Institute (GBCI) is strongly preferred.
  • Professional experience in environmental compliance as a Sustainability Coordinator, ESR Program Manager, or similarly titled professional in the Semiconductor, Automotive, Food/Beverage, or Medical Device industries is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of cost savings studies and incorporating energy conservation measures.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, facility drawings, contract documents, equipment specifications, and governmental regulations.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing business priorities, and ability to communicate swiftly to team members when a change in direction is needed.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from top management, customers, and service personnel.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to successfully work autonomously in a virtual, highly collaborative team environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Environmental Data Management; SAP systems a plus.
  • The drive to create new solutions and inspire others – the ability to influence positive change.

Your success will be measured by:

  • The strength of sustainability best practices shared and adopted across sites.
  • The efficacy of the sustainability standards that are developed and implemented.
  • Ability to develop, collect, and report on key Sustainability metrics.
  • The number of New Product Development projects embracing Sustainability and CSR with a defined LCA.
  • Progress toward converting traditional electric sources to Renewable Energy.

What we offer:
