General Information:

Hitachi Energy is seeking for a Business Specialist for our Raleigh, NC office. This role is responsible for activities related to the Transformers business within the North America (NAM) Region.

Your responsibilities:

  • Audit and analyze a variety of financial information used in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, business plans, prices, costs of products and services, and submit results.

  • Conduct special studies and work with other departments on such matters as preparation of reports, development of procedures and controls, and processing of expenses. Review data and obtain additional information, as appropriate.
  • Prepare, install and maintain controls. Recommend improvements to contain costs, increase oversight capability and be responsive to customer needs.
  • Requires thorough knowledge of financial policies and procedures, and ability to effectively interpret financial operating statistics and communicate information to management. Financial activities, analyses, studies and research are varied and somewhat difficult, and usually involve a moderate level of responsibility.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or related field plus 5 to 7 years of experience or a special combination of education and experience, and/or demonstrated accomplishments.
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
