LOCATED IN LINCOLN, NE
Perform phlebotomy on patients in a clinical setting at the Regional Pathology Services (RPS).
Responsible for all duties related to processing and result reporting of outreach laboratory specimens while adhering to departmental identification policies.
Provides extensive client service communication with RPS customers, including managing information about patient specimens.Position Details

Knowledge of medical terminology, Ability to demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and flexibility. Knowledge of phlebotomy protocols, compliance, and safety. Proficient in collecting blood by venipuncture and capillary techniques
Preferred Education:
Associate's degree If any degree/training is preferred, please specify the type:
Healthcare or Biological Sciences.
Preferred Experience:
Phlebotomy in outreach laboratory setting.
Proficient in collecting urine drug screen collections, alcohol testing, paternity collections.
Preferred License:

Ability to complete phlebotomy protocols, compliance, and safety.
Customer service background in a medical or healthcare environment.
Knowledge of PC/data entry and medical terminology.
Ability to type 50 wpm.
