Position Purpose
This position is responsible for ensuring the maximum level of retail sales penetration and market share growth of JCB Power Generation Products.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
Exceeds annual sales targets and increases market shareParticipates in the development of annual Business Plan Proposals with CustomersDevelops excellent product and application knowledge of JCB and Competitive EquipmentEffectively communicates and works cross-functionally with Field Sales and Product Support TeamsSubmits weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual production forecasts to assure production levels accurately reflect opportunity within the territoryContinually monitors market trends as it relates to current products, new product development and market opportunities within the TerritoryManages and submits weekly T&E Expenses within budget and guidelines established by JCBResponsibly maintain company-owned assets which include vehicles, equipment and computersPerforms other duties/projects as assignedNature & ScopeReports to the Director – Power Generation Equipment Sales
Minimum Qualifications
2-3 years outside sales experienceBA/BS in Business or similarDemonstrated success in achieving sales targetsDemonstrated success in lead generation and business developmentProven success in analyzing and forecasting trendsStrong relationship management skillsStrong interpersonal skills; written, verbal and listeningAbility to effectively manage and maintain peer and business relationships with a high degree of integrity and trustKnowledge, Skills, Abilities & CompetenciesEffective time management and organizational skillsProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPointWorking knowledge of Salesforce or other similar CRM toolsUnderstand and implement basic selling skillsKnowledge of dealer distribution network model and operationsAbility to problem solve quickly; Sense of urgency for answersSelf-starter with good analytical skillsDetail orientedCustomer service oriented as to assist in maintaining relationships with JCBSolid interpersonal skills; written, verbal and listeningAbility to effectively manage and maintain peer and business relationships with a high degree of integrity and trustWillingness to travel as required (50%)Job Conditions: Both office environment and occasionally manufacturing/factory environmentSubject to noise and temperature changesPhysical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
