Position Summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Automation Controls Manager to oversee and optimize the performance of our building automation systems across our extensive network of locations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of controls systems, with a focus on Honeywell controls and some experience with Lynxspring controls.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

System Oversight and Management:

  • Oversee and manage building automation systems across Life Time Inc.'s 170+ locations.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of Honeywell controls and provide support for Lynxspring controls where applicable.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

Technical Expertise:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on Honeywell controls, Lynxspring controls, and related building automation technologies.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to stay updated on the latest advancements in controls systems.

Troubleshooting and Maintenance

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to building automation controls.
  • Implement preventive maintenance strategies to enhance system reliability and longevity

Project Management:

  • Lead controls-related projects, including system upgrades, installations, and integrations.
  • Coordinate with contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Compliance and Standards:

  • Ensure that building automation systems comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Stay informed about relevant codes and standards, implementing necessary updates.

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing building automation systems, with a focus on Honeywell controls.
  • Familiarity with Lynxspring controls is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of energy management practices and sustainability initiatives.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Years of Experience:

  • 4 or more years of experience with Building Automation Systems and Controls
