Product Sales Account Executive – Data Protection

The Zscaler Sales and Go-to-Market team is a global group of professionals who are passionate about delighting our customers, nurturing trusted partnerships, and sharing their expertise to lead a secure, cloud-enabled digital future and further cement our position as the world leader in cloud security. We're looking for a Product Sales Account Executive to join our team. Reporting to the VP - Global Data Protection, you will have an impact on sales and product roadmap for the Data Protection portfolio that includes DLP, CASB and several other products. You will become the 'go to' person for customers, partners and internal sales teams for all data protection sales in your region. This includes working with a solution engineer to gather requirements from customers, create compelling value propositions and close business working with primary account team. You will help us meet the requirements of our growing customer base and be game changers in the security space. You have a blend of business a domain expertise, have a big-picture vision and the desire to make that vision a reality with experience creating detailed demos that are tailored to customers' pain points.

You will:

  • Own the Data Protection quota and achievement for assigned territory. Build, implement an account-based strategy to land/expand the data protection portfolio driving predictable quota attainment.
  • Be a specialist directly supporting sales delivery of quota. Work locally and remotely with the primary sales and sales leadership teams in a synergistic, complimentary manner as one Zscaler.
  • Present to customers as our expert in DLP/CASB/DSPM across all levels in the customer hierarchy, from technical audience to CIO
  • Discuss, with credibility, competitive offers in the marketplace and position ours as the best alternative
  • Build compelling quantifiable business cases that move buyer urgency and justify investment.
  • Support relationship expansion with top existing partners for Data Protection security
  • Travel of 60%-80% within the designated region

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years of full-cycle sales experience within software or security industry
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Progressive selling experience engaging with accounts and selling at C-Level

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data loss prevention, securing SaaS and Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASB)
  • Conducted executive briefings and regional events using our executive and product teams.
  • Experience building account plans and leading multi-phase, multi-partner complex scales cycles.
  • Experience working with Channel partners and understanding of a channel-centric go-to-market approach
