The Solution Delivery Services (SDS) team is actively seeking an experienced agile coach in Indianapolis, IN who wants to have large scale impact. What You'll Be Doing
Reporting directly into the Senior Director, Solution Delivery Services within Global Services, you will be a hands-on strategic partner driving the Lilly Agile/DevOps Transformation program by managing the Agile/DevOps Transformation effort at scale, owning, and delivering on tactical execution plans. You will interface throughout with area transformational leaders and initiatives within Agile, DevOps, and Automation and Engineering Practices, as you guide teams transitioning to an Agile/DevOps development model.
How You'll Succeed
As a member of the Agile Coaching team, you will use relationship building skills to understand the business, vendors, partners, as well as use technology to facilitate and define strategic and tactical plans to enable the business to be successful for today and tomorrow. With an ability to handle scale and detail, understand sophisticated problems and take care of risk, you will coordinate the oversight and execution of the specific business area Agile transformation ensuing business value is delivered on time and on budget. With an ability to promote the Agile mindset, culture and practices focused on delivering business outcomes, you will facilitate the adoption and scaling of modern technology delivery practices across Lilly including agile practices and methodologies. As a member of the Agile Coaching team, you will support the continued improvement of maturity of the operating model through formal guidance, coaching and measurement/assessment to identify gaps and tools and training needs. As a member of the Agile Coaching team, you will leverage metrics for continuous improvement and thoughtful data to inspire decisions, train and mentor other leaders and employees to empower agile teams as well as promote adoption of Agile best practices. With the ability to support implementation of Enterprise objectives, you will help a business area define Objectives and Key Results (OKR) associated with its Agile transformation.What You Should Bring As an IT professional you will bring demonstrated experience as an Agile Coach involved in large strategic transformations. Strong executive presence and the ability to work with and influence senior leaders. Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to logically structure issues and determine recommended resolutions. Strategic thinker with the ability to make connections across workstreams and matrixed organizations. Extremely high attention to detail with exceptional writing and editing skills. Ability to generate and execute creative ideas related to making communications engaging and distinctive. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team, but also be a self-starter. Effective communications skills (both written and verbal) and ability to understand needs and influence multiple work groups and senior levels of leadership, both Technical and Managerial. PMP Certified, SCRUM Certification(s), SAFe Certification(s) or ICAgile Certification(s) preferred. Experience successfully driving and leading an enterprise Agile Transformation effort at scale in the pharmaceutical industry is highly preferable. Your Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a stem related field 3+ years' experience serving as an Enterprise Agile Coach and/ior DevOps lead 3+ years of experience leading transformational change initiatives and enterprise change management, including 5+ years of resource management, strategy development and ability to influence all management levels 3+ years proven track record in successfully managing agile implementations or large-scale transformational initiatives. Experience in Agile Coaching and Mentoring, Project Management or Project Development. Understanding the fundamentals of iterative and incremental development. Experience with Agile practices (SAFe, Agile, Lean, Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
