Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk
Job Description

Seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team. Responsibilities include receiving and verifying purchase orders and backup documents, matching invoices to purchase orders, and posting in the system. The role involves preparing and processing accounts payable files and checks using a document imaging system, maintaining sales tax audit reports, reconciling vendor statements, and handling inquiries. The candidate will also cross-train for backup duties related to accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Work Environment

Work hours are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. The position is based in an open cubicle setting alongside an accounting team that includes a supervisor and three other clerks.
