The Manager HR Shared Services role involves overseeing employees managing the LOA process and all benefit and compensation support in the HR Shared Services team. The responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements for leaves and accurately handling benefit inquiries. Additionally, managing vendor relationships, addressing concerns, providing support, and identifying process improvements are crucial tasks. The manager will also offer strategic guidance, coach the team, and establish partnerships within HR Shared Services and HR.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and retain a team capable of handling a high volume of leaves and inquiries effectively
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert on leaves and accommodations
  • Manage employee leave process with external vendors
  • Stay updated on new leave programs and changes
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements for leaves and benefits
  • Lead benefit inquiry and support activities
  • Support Annual Open Enrollment
  • Assist in compensation support processes
  • Develop strategies to enhance employee experience
  • Utilize data for audits and process improvements
  • Establish partnerships with HR functions
  • Drive continuous improvement

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Prior experience in HR, specifically in leaves and benefits
  • Knowledge of various benefit programs and accommodations
  • Experience in people management
  • Expertise in process improvement and change management
  • Ability to manage heavy workloads
  • Strong analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ServiceNow, Workday, and HR Acuity
  • Working with third-party vendors
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and customer focus
  • Ability to work independently and multitask
