My client, a cutting-edge company revolutionizing the energy sector with an innovative approach to fusion technology, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful development and production of my client's next-generation fusion reactor technology. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be involved in designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to meet my client's high standards for performance and quality.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for advanced fusion reactor components.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to transition prototypes from the lab to production.
- Implement and refine production techniques to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure high-quality output.
- Oversee the selection and implementation of manufacturing equipment and tools.
- Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting to address manufacturing issues.
- Maintain and enhance production documentation and standards.
- Monitor industry trends and integrate best practices into manufacturing processes.
Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in high-tech or complex systems.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including lean manufacturing and process improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
