What you’ll be doing 

  1. Assist in the day-to-day AR and AP processes, including: reviewing vendor bills, payment preparation, vendor documentation, account reconciliations, collections, and internal communications with other business functions. 
  2. Support timely month-end and year-end closing processes, including transaction coding
  3. Ensure collection, reconciliation, and accounting of all receipts related to company credit card transactions
  4. Assist in organization and documentation of critical corporate information and communications
  5. Review contracts to extract necessary data and generate client invoices.

Requirements

  • Experienced: 1-3 years of accounting experience. Are you experienced in sales tax and/or marketplaces? Even better
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP and general accounting processes
  • Working knowledge of Quickbooks Online
  • Highly proficient in Excel functions and GSuite (Google Docs)
  • Must have strong analytical skills; the ability to find and utilize available resources to resolve problems
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized: excellent attention to detail, financial accuracy, and strong customer service toward colleagues, vendors, and other constituents.
  • Requires strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong follow-up and follow-through with requests from all levels, including escalations.
