Procurement and Facilities Director


We are hiring a Procurement and Facilities Director to oversee procurement, inventory, and facilities. Your efforts will save time, money, energy, and space, ensuring smooth operations for our landscape business and garden center.


A Day in the Life of a Procurement and Facilities Director:

  • Procurement Expertise: Manage product ordering, sourcing strategies, vendor relationships, and budgeting to maintain cost controls and ensure reliable supply chains.
  • Operational Excellence: Streamline departmental processes and drive projects to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Leadership: Mentor and coach team members, fostering a collaborative work environment and providing support as needed.
  • Strategic Management: Utilize data analysis to monitor KPIs, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement effective inventory management practices.
  • Facilities Oversight: Ensure the safety, organization, and cleanliness of facilities, coordinating repairs, improvements, and waste/recycling logistics.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or similar preferred.
  • Applicants should possess a strong knowledge of horticulture and plant care, including experience with a variety of plant species and best practices for maintaining healthy, thriving landscapes.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing supplier relationships to ensure cost-effective and reliable procurement.
  • Ability to analyze data, interpret trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize efficiency.
