Position Summary:­­­


Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing all promotions at ilani, working with internal and external departments as well as outside organizations. Coordinates and executes promotional requirements and serves as a liaison between marketing departments, operations, external agencies, and affiliated promotional sponsors.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • and gives direction to a teamto execute promotions including but not limited to the Promotions Specialist and Promotions Coordinator, as well as any team members assigned to support promotions.
  • for designing, executing, and monitoring all promotions at ilani.
  • Responsible for planning and executing all off-site marketing and volunteer events such as external marketing and promotional activation,non-profit promotional activation, and other promotional activation as directed.
  • with other Senior Marketing Leaders on preparing the annual marketing budget and makes recommendations for short and long-term revenue enhancements.
  • with the other Senior Marketing Leaders on developing and executing ilani’s marketing calendar.
  • and manages monthly expense forecasting for the promotions and budget to include monthly expense forecasts, mid-month forecasting updates, and month-end close to effectively track expenses and maintain budgetary guidelines.
  • for program tracking, and monthly analysis as well as preparing and presenting monthly marketing strategy results to senior management.
  • for monitoring promotions and special event results through evaluation and analysis, making changes, if necessary, to achieve established revenue goals within the property’s profitability guidelines.
  • and executes promotional requirements with various internal departments, affiliated sponsors, and other areas as required.
  • and submits all rules and regulations to Compliance and/or Regulators for approval as required.
  • internal controls and standard operating procedures for promotional development.
  • audits of all promotions to ensure they are meeting regulatory requirements.
  • with internal and external departments on scheduling all promotions.
  • giveaways as required.
  • with buyers to select and order all giveaway items including continuity, Forever Young Monday, Hot Summer Fun, etc.
  • with warehouse team to ensure timely delivery of giveaway items.
  • the ability to extend complimentary services by following the approved comp matrix.
  • confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • other related duties as assigned.




Minimum Qualifications:


  • degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Economics, or Finance, and/or five (5) years of progressive Marketing experience, and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • three (3) years of experience as a manager/supervisor of a functional area with multiple FTEs in one or more of the following disciplines: Advertising, Casino Marketing, Database Marketing, Direct Marketing, Marketing/Mass Media.
  • possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
  • to drive improved program results in all areas of responsibility through staff, development and proven marketing programs, and promotions. Applying established methods, procedures, and guidelines to maintain desired Brand standards.
  • with organizing and executing promotions.
  • writing promotional rules, procedures, internal controls, and/or SOPs.
  • measurement of individuals, teams, and processes to improve organizational performance.
  • of financial and human resources to meet strategic marketing objectives.
  • analysis skills to evaluate marketing programs proforma/postforma.
  • written and oral communications.
  • experience with Microsoft products/programs (I.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • knowledge of player management systems (i.e., CMP).
  • may be required for this position.
  • possess a valid Driver’s License.
  • be able to work various shifts and flexible hours including nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • be willing to work in a smoking environment.
  • be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.
