About the Role:

Job Title: Supply Chain Manager


Job description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • The ideal candidate will have a successful track record developing and executing strategy, negotiating master agreements and statements of work, and managing supplier performance. Experience working in new and ambiguous environments while solving complex problems with a broad range of cross functional stakeholders will be an advantage.
  • Work with a range of stakeholders including business leaders, engineering leaders, legal, program management, and supply chain to negotiate a variety of agreements and contracts including term sheets, MOUs, NDAs, SOWs, development agreements, component purchase agreements and others.
  • Using industry and relevant data analysis, create and execute strategic sourcing plans for a technology, business unit, department, or project to help internal customers meet their goals.
  • Analyze industry trends and evolving technology to proactively identify opportunities to reduce cost, minimize risk, protect continuity of supply, and exploit industry developments that benefit customers.
  • Influence suppliers' manufacturing processes, technology decisions, and policies in ways that are mutually beneficial and sustainable for both organizations.
  • Prioritize projects and activities to deliver maximum cost reductions and reliable supply.
  • Manage cross-functional projects against plans and objectives to meet commitments and goals.
  • Drive financial modeling of large and complex deals.
  • Evaluate and monitor financial health of critical suppliers.
  • Effectively lead cross-functional meetings with clear document writing, agenda creation, note capture and follow-up activity coordination.


Skill sets:-

  • PCBA/PCB prior experience
  • Aerospace/defense/space industry knowledge
  • Need people as a buyer (issuing purchase orders, late deliveries, invoicing)
  • Supply Chain program management (onboard new suppliers with production designs, manage first time build with suppliers, they have data, etc., coordinate logistics and manage technical reqs and actual build of PCBA/PCB)
  • Manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Documentation experience
  • Technically inclined person, data crunching
  • Excel**
  • Prepare and manage RFQ process.
  • Individual will be a Sr level manager with experience vetting out partners within the manufacturing space
  • Needs to have exp with RFQ, RFI, RFP's
  • Lead initiatives to scale up into stable & affordable high-rate production with onsite visibility into supplier manufacturing operations.
  • Experience selecting vendors in manufacturing/hardware/medical space.
  • Vendor performance analysis
  • Good with reporting


Nice To Have:

  • Medical may help as well due to volume similarity
  • Does not need government exp.


Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite)


Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $140K - $150K annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
