POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete and interpret comprehensive audiology evaluations on adult and occasional pediatric populations.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and organizations.
  • Provide comprehensive and timely documentation of patient evaluation, including records review, report writing, follow-up and general interaction.


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Doctor or Master’s Degree in Audiology
  • Interest in working with veterans
  • Experience in cerumen removal—but skills training will be provided if necessary.


LICENSURE

  • Must have and maintain current licensure by the Texas State Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
  • Must be a participating Medicaid and Medicare provider or be eligible to obtain a Medicaid and Medicare provider number.


YOUR BASE COMPENSATION DEPENDS ON YOUR EXPERIENCE.

  • The minimum starting pay is $45 per hour.


YOUR EARNING POTENTIAL IS UNLIMITED


Schedule:

  • Work a minimum of 5 days per month – 11 days per month.
  • Specifically, you will work the last full week of every month, Mondays, and Fridays as needed/if available.
  • 9:00 am – 5:00 pm: Your schedule can be flexible and modified to fit your personal needs.
