He/ she must possess the ability to provide clear direction to the team and drive positive engagement to ensure success. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide leadership, education, support, motivation and direction to distribution center staff.
  2. Support company safety, quality, and productivity initiatives
  3. Adhere to standard operating procedures to customers facing SLAs and ensure that systems data are maintained, accurate, and cost effective.
  4. Monitor workplace performance and collaborate with DC AM Manager to lead training initiatives and develop warehouse associates
  5. Define and achieve goals and KPI’s for each team.
  6. Work with sales and production teams to evaluate inventory and throughput capacity requirements.
  7. Champion a safety-first environment and ensure the safe use of warehouse equipment
  8. Coordinate new hire trainings: onboarding, general workplace safety and hazmat
  9. Provide feedback to warehouse group on their work methods, productivity, safe work habits and overall performance.
  10. Ensure compliance and continuous improvement for all labeling, packaging, and inventory responsibilities
  11. Oversee all IC functions, processes, and operations.
  12. Oversee the scheduling of physical inventory and cycle counting in all facilities.
  13. Perform analysis, generate reports, and design processes to increase inventory accuracy and team productivity.



Qualifications:

  1. Operations leader with experience leading distribution operations in a high volume, small orders, mostly parcel shipping environment utilizing KPIs to track performance.
  2. Strong familiarity with FedEx/UPS parcel shipping capabilities is essential.
  3. Proven track record of implementing performance improvement programs including the ability to teach and foster a Continuous Improvement mindset to drive incremental improvements.
  4. Experience in a fast-paced, complex environment.
  5. Demonstrated a transformation mindset to drive enterprise value through operations.
  6. An advanced degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
  7. Proven capabilities of identifying and developing talent to build high functioning teams to deliver results.

A clear communicator with proven ability to articulate a vision, gain buy-in from the team and drive change in an ambiguous environment
