Title: Nurse Educator
Location: On-site, Holyoke, MA
Salary Range: $110,000
Skills Required:
- 3 - 4 years of experience in behavioral health nursing or as a Clinical Educator if willing to become a Nurse Educator
- 5 years minimum of experience as a Nurse Educator or as a Clinical Educator
- Demonstrated leadership and educator experience in a Clinical or Academic setting
- Deep knowledge of Nursing best practices in the behavioral health inpatient setting
- BSN requires; MSN / APRN preferred

Our client is a rapidly growing, 24-hour behavioral healthcare facility providing inpatient and outpatient services in Western Massachusetts. They are looking to expand their healthcare offerings to better serve patients in a welcoming and effective environment.
About the role:
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience training, educating and developing nursing students or nursing professionals in a behavioral health facility. This candidate needs to have experience identifying, planning, developing and coordinating education programs and nursing curriculum in addition to assessing the learning needs and practice of Registered Nurses.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Nurse Director and ACNO to identify staff learning needs and develop staff in various roles
- Provides staff development expertise for staff caring for an adult population with psychiatric and substance abuse issues
- Serves as a role model and knowledgeable resource for patients, families and staff regarding regulatory and human rights
- Oversees the clinical process and staff professional care to ensure quality patient care, regulatory readiness, patient satisfaction and performance improvement
