Loan Closing Specialist
Location: San Francisco, CA
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for reviewing loan documents for boarding all loan types that include moderate to complex commercial lines of credit and term loans, commercial real estate loans, SBA and other government guaranteed loans, residential and consumer loans.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding payment/advances and payoff request.
- Ordering various documents for loan closing and doing research to resolve processing issues in a timely manner.
- Commercial loan closing and funding
- Consumer loan closing and funding
- Order and obtain tax and flood services, UCC searches, insurance
- Review disbursement applications and controls for construction loans
- Other loan closing duties as needed
- Assist with loan audits as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of banking experience in loan servicing department in a Closing Specialist role
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance (or other related field) preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and understanding of Laser-Pro documents.
- Experience with SilverLake, nCino, and LaserPro
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Capable of being assigned specific projects and monitoring projects for completion within expected time frames.
- High degree of flexibility to react to an environment of growth and change.
