B&E Resources, LLC has an exciting opportunity for an Estimating Intern. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in estimating and project management within the industrial construction and industrial service field.


Position will work out of the B&E Resources Corporate Office: 350 Pine Street, Suite 601, Beaumont, Texas.


Responsibilities:

·        Collaborate with the estimating team in establishing the sequential steps in all processes of the project

·        Support the development of cost estimates and budgets

·        Contribute to special projects related to cost analysis and process improvement

·        Participate in meetings and discussions to gain exposure to the estimating process

·        Provide support in maintaining accurate records and documentation for projects

Minimum Qualifications:

·        Currently pursuing degree in Civil Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a specific interest in industrial construction and service

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software

·        Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

·        Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy

·        Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Behavioral Requirements:

·        Strong organizational and time-management skills

·        Strong written and verbal communication skills

·        High attention to detail and strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

·        Strong interest in industrial construction and industrial service sector

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

·        Sitting/Standing/Flexibility: Ability to stand and sit for 8 or more hours when in an office environment

·        Lifting: Ability to lift items weighing up to 10 pounds

·        Vision/Hearing: Ability to understand a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule
