Pinnacle Partners is assisting our client in their search for a Power BI Developer to join their team in the Charlotte, NC area. This successful resource will be responsible for designing and developing interactive Power BI Dashboards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into dashboard solutions
  • Develop and maintain paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder
  • Administer Power BI service
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and ensure high availability and reliability of the Power BI environment
  • Implement best practices for security, compliance with Power BI, and data governance
  • Integrate data from multiple sources including SQL databases, Excel files, and other cloud based data sources
  • Develop and maintain Power BI Dataflows to centralize data for use across various reports and dashboards
  • Research and stay informed with the latest Power BI features and updates
  • Migrate existing Cognos reports to Power BI

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of experience developing Power BI dashboards and paginated reports
  • Proficiency in Data Analysis Expressions
  • Experience with Power BI administration
  • Proficient in DQL and experience with integrating data

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience with Cognos BI reporting

TERMS:

This is a contract to hire opportunity with a wage up to $55/hr based on experience. Benefits will be offered by Pinnacle while on contract.
