Job Title: Sales Coordinator

Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm (flexible schedule as needed)

Location: Alpharetta, GA (hybrid)

Department: Sales

Reports To: Key Account Director of North America


Job Purpose

This position is responsible for representing Ontex to the customer and the customer to Ontex. The Sales Coordinator II is a customer-facing role that contributes to revenue and profit growth by consistently meeting customers’ expectations and supporting the Sales Director to service business growth. Provides insights and analysis of customer activity to support new product launches, ongoing account development and forecast accuracy.


Main Responsibilities and Key Tasks

  • Interact directly with our customers and brokers to lead forecasting process and input of customer forecast into Ontex Operations via S&OP process.
  • Ensure that the CSA teams are trained in customer specific order entry and tracking, lead contact for any issues/troubleshooting with the CSA team.
  • Leverage SAP and other systems to pull key reports and metrics to share with retail customer purchasing teams to keep our business.
  • Fully utilize customer portals to meet service requirements. Understand customer scorecards and Ontex service reports. Identify the causes for poor results and contribute to corrective action plans.
  • Assist in development of selling presentations, lead specific customer request implementations such as sample requests, audit requirements, new item forms for product/program scope changes.
  • Lead research and resolution of customer deductions. Investigate and resolve customer deductions (Pricing, Payment Terms, Shortages/Overages). Monitor assigned customer opportunities to reduce any system impacts.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
  • 2 + years of experience working with large US retail teams in a similar role.
  • Prior experience with ERP applications, including US retail customer-specific portals and systems.
  • Can-do attitude and strong desire to learn is an absolute must.
  • Demonstrated ability to use Word and Excel is required.
  • Strong communications ability both written and verbal. Spanish speaking a plus but not required.
  • Demonstrated analytical, interpersonal and organizational and leadership skills.
