Project Coordinator - Carlsbad, NM - Immediate Hire
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Project Coordinator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be crucial in conducting fieldwork, collecting samples, and assisting Project Managers with environmental assessments and remediations.
This position is an entry-level position.
Experience in field sampling will be a helpful skill set.
This position will require being in a field-heavy position, approximately 90% of the time, working approximately 40 to 50 hours weekly.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Field Data Collection: Conduct environmental assessments and sampling which will include installing soil borings with a hand auger.
- Sample Analysis: Prepare and field analyze environmental samples using standard equipment and procedures.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot field equipment, ensuring its proper functioning.
- Data Recording: Accurately record and organize field data, ensuring that all information is properly documented.
- Report Preparation: Assist in the preparation of technical reports, summarizing findings, and providing recommendations. This will include utilizing Microsoft office.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and safety protocols during fieldwork.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with environmental scientists, engineers, technicians, and other team members to achieve project goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma
- Previous experience in environmental fieldwork or related roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial equipment and data collection techniques.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and safety protocols.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry field equipment.
- Basic computer knowledge (Email, Microsoft 360, Internet-based time entry).
