Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Contract and RFP Manager to join our procurement team. The RFP and Contract Manager will play a crucial role in managing the Request for Proposal (RFP) process and overseeing contract negotiations and administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, exceptional negotiation skills, and a thorough understanding of contract management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end RFP process, including drafting RFP documents, gathering requirements from stakeholders, evaluating vendor proposals, and facilitating the selection process.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors, clients, and partners to secure favorable terms and conditions while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the execution and implementation of contracts, including contract modifications, extensions, and renewals.
  • Monitor contract performance and compliance, identifying and mitigating risks, and developing strategies to minimize exposure.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, external vendors, and clients regarding RFPs and contracts, providing updates, addressing concerns, and facilitating communication throughout the process.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, clients, and partners to support the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment and support the organization's goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, contract management, or related field, preferably in the healthcare or education industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing RFPs and negotiating contracts, including experience with vendor selection and contract administration.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including healthcare and education industry regulations, preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and contract management software.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (Salesforce).
