The Product Manager is the core role responsible for overseeing the development of our digital products. They thoroughly understand the industry, competitive atmosphere, and customer needs and behaviors. They are visionaries who plan a product roadmap based on the company’s long-term strategy, and work within a cross-discipline team to ensure its successful delivery. LOCATION: Vancouver, WA (Hybrid - apx. 1-2 days a week onsite)


Essential Duties:

1. Develops and maintains the product roadmap for our company. Leads the creation and refinement of our product roadmap to align with high-level business goals, prioritized features and enhancements to align with customer and stakeholder needs.

2. Writes clear requirements on work items as part of a cross-discipline agile software development team. Works with UX Designers and Software Engineers to translate customer needs into easily consumable requirements.

3. Deeply understand the current functionality, limitations, and user needs for a high volume eCommerce website to prioritize the backlog for a software development team.

Other Duties:

  • Conduct market research, user interviews, and use other analytical tools to better understand customer behavior and their needs.
  • Plan new innovative product features based on consumer data.
  • Be a key contributor to critical ceremonies like Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Product Demos, and Daily Standups.
  • Define and track KPIs to define success metrics for the product.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on product performance data, and changes from recent feature deliveries.
  • Organize and conduct AB testing to determine viability of potential features.
  • Performs user acceptance testing on finished software development work.
  • Champion continuous improvement of processes and product management techniques.
  • Anticipate the team’s upcoming needs, and advocate for staffing changes that support them.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in leading teams - 5 years as a Product Manager.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic plans and drive process improvement.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong technical acumen with familiarity with relevant technologies and their application in operations and product development.
  • Empathy and patience for users and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Advanced project management skills.
  • Inspires and motivates others to perform well by building a culture of positive team spirit.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and build consensus in a high-pressure environment.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or eight to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
