We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Account Sales Representative with mid-level experience to join our team in Monroeville, PA. Job Details for an Account Sales Representative:

  • Position Type: Direct hire, full-time, salaried (non-commission based)
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday
  • Interview Process: Phone interview, virtual interview, reference check, in-person interview
  • Reporting Structure: Reports directly to the company President
  • Travel Requirements: Up to 40%
  • Hiring Target: By the end of December 2024, with interviews beginning as soon as qualified candidates are identified


Duties and Responsibilities for an Account Sales Representative:

  • Grow sales of Premier Automation’s core products and services by identifying and developing new customer accounts while strengthening existing relationships
  • Act as the ambassador of Premier Automation, serving as the main point of contact for clients and ensuring their needs are met
  • Engage in business development activities, collaborating with marketing, manufacturing, and engineering teams to introduce new product offerings and services
  • Conduct cold calls to potential customers, with a focus on both relationship building and learning about customer needs
  • Follow up on quoted opportunities to gather feedback, secure deals, and discover additional opportunities
  • Manage the RFQ process, ensuring timely responses to customer requests and quotes
  • Collaborate with internal teams to plan and review sales goals and strategies on a quarterly and monthly basis
  • Participate in face-to-face sales calls with customers, as well as weekly planning and sales activity reporting
  • Project management tasks, including collecting information for proposals and providing feedback on customer inquiries
  • Maintain and update sales pipelines, track weekly sales activities, and participate in Monday morning conference calls


Experience and Qualifications for an Account Sales Representative:

  • Minimum of 3 years in sales within the electrical, automation, or industrial sectors, with a proven ability to sell complex, engineered solutions and services. Candidates should have experience going beyond product distribution, demonstrating a deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to provide tailored customized solutions
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to serve as a trusted advisor to clients
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with internal teams to meet sales and business development goals
  • Experience with cold calling and lead generation, as well as managing complex sales processes and RFQs
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) and sales reporting tools
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously
  • A technical degree or a Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required
