Currently, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for strategic sourcing and estimation to oversee our company's projects alongside the project management team. The ideal candidate will drive the development and execution of sourcing strategies, manage vendor relationships, optimize costs, and ensure accurate estimates for all custom products. This position requires a seasoned leader with strong analytical abilities and a comprehensive understanding of market trends and dynamics.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of standardized estimation processes tailored for customized product supply.
  • Supervise a team of three coordinators, each responsible for distinct project aspects.
  • Review and validate estimates to align with project requirements and budgetary constraints effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments such as finance, operations, and customer service.
  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers, driving mutual success.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions that benefit the company.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with contract terms and quality standards.
  • Conduct thorough cost analyses to identify areas for savings and operational enhancements.
  • Responsible for then implementing cost optimization strategies while upholding quality and performance standards.
  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Utilize performance metrics to foster accountability and drive continuous improvement within the team.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to stay abreast of industry trends, pricing dynamics, and competitor strategies.
  • Analyze market data to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Ensure all sourcing activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, product development, or a related field in the product supply or distribution setting.
