Duration: 12 months
Location: San Diego, CA 92121
Pay Range: $30 - $ 34.76/hr. on W2
Qualifications:
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree with 1 years of academic or industry experience
• Minimum 1-3yrs experience preferred
Required Skills
• Contribute to lab administration and organization through ordering, managing inventory, preparation of buffers and reagents
• Perform standard DNA-, and protein-based procedures such as plasmids prep, gel electrophoresis
• Execute tissue culture-based experiments, including maintaining and transfecting mammalian cell lines
• Support the execution of antibody production with the opportunity to learn antibody therapeutics.
• Support the characterization antibodies biophysically.
• Document work in a timely fashion in electronic lab notebook
• LOCAL candidates for this role
Optional Skills (preferred):
• Mass spectrometry
• AKTA-based purification
• Cloning techniques
Responsibilities:
As a Research Scientist, you will play an important role in our growing team, supporting research needs as well as laboratory organization.
