Customer Service Representative

Huntington, United States Teijin Automotive Technologies Full time

The ideal candidate will be the lead point of contact for our customer as a tier one supplier to the automotive industry. They will work closely with the operations team to ensure accurate information regarding customer requirements is provided, and materials are available to achieve 100% on-time delivery. They will interface with customer systems and ensure data accuracy is maintained, and transmitted in a timely manner per customer requirements. They will track key performance indicators and participate in continuous improvement activities.


Essential Job Functions:


-Maintain close relationship with key customer via interpersonal, and customer/supplier portal

-Communicate schedules and deadlines effectively with internal departments, and outside processing suppliers to ensure alignment and timely execution.

-Manage material flow and inventory accuracy through outside finishing process supplier. Participate in regular physical inventory counts.

-Compile, record, and prepare material and inventory reports to validate and keep track of resources and production progress.

-Assess, and track customer demand trends to align customer requirements with plant operations schedules

-Assist with establishing and achieving goals that align with production and strategic initiatives.

-Assist in developing and documenting operating guidelines and procedures to ensure smooth operations.

-Develop and document continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

-Track plant on-time delivery performance against customer delivery schedules, and other key performance indicators.

-Contribute to new product launch planning.

-Perform other related duties as required and assigned to support the overall operations of the department.
