Must Haves

• 3+ years corporate experience in setting up and operating AV equipment.

• Prior experience hosting live events, both onsite & offsite, & has collaborated w/external vendors

• Proficiency in using and troubleshooting Zoom and Microsoft Teams.


Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and maintain AV equipment for meetings, presentations, and corporate events.
  • Work with Executives and their assistants on finding AV solutions for high level meetings and events.
  • Install AV systems and ensure their functionality and proper operation.
  • Troubleshoot AV issues promptly and effectively, minimizing downtime.
  • Provide documentation and staff training on the usage of AV equipment and software platforms, including Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
  • Coordinate with event planners to ensure all AV requirements are met.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on AV equipment and perform necessary updates or repairs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in AV technology and suggest upgrades and improvements when necessary.
  • Knowledge of the operation of our current Zoom hardware, including Neat Bars and Mac OS.

Requirements:

  • Proven corporate experience in setting up and operating AV equipment.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in hosting live events, both onsite and offsite, and will have collaborated with external AV service providers. A key part of the role involves acting as a liaison between IT and AV providers.
  • Proficiency in using and troubleshooting Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
  • Excellent technical skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly to accommodate business needs, including occasional evenings or weekends.
  • A relevant certification or diploma in a related field is a plus.
