As a Software Engineer, you'll work on cutting-edge projects for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). You'll collaborate with data analysts to develop and enhance tools that process and analyze massive datasets (petabytes of data).


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining high-performance software applications
  • Working with diverse data types (telemetry, network, geolocation)
  • Prototyping and iterating on solutions based on customer feedback
  • Supporting a complex, cloud-based infrastructure


Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 12+ years of software development experience (Python, Java, JavaScript)
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Python, Big Data, Elasticsearch, Pyspark/spark


Desired skills:

  • Full-stack web development (Django, Flask, React, Angular)
  • Cloud platforms (OpenStack, AWS, Azure)
  • DevOps tools (Docker, Ansible, GitLab)
  • Big Data technologies (Spark, Elasticsearch, Hadoop, Neo4j)
  • Geospatial mapping experience
