Our client is looking for an HR Assistant.


The ideal candidate will be Bilingual Spanish.


Responsibilities: The Human Resources Assistant will play a key role in supporting the HR department’s daily operations.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Employee Records Management:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including contact information, job classifications, pay rates, organizational structure, and other essential details.

Recruitment and Onboarding:

Manage internal and external job postings and maintain records of active job openings and received applications.

Review applications for entry-level and non-exempt positions and conduct or schedule preliminary interviews.

Assist with recruitment initiatives and onboarding processes.

Administrative and Recordkeeping Tasks:

  • Handle administrative tasks related to staffing changes, including layoffs, resignations, terminations, and extended leaves of absence.
  • Oversee and coordinate the leaves of absence process.

Employee Benefits and Policy Support:

Assist in the administration of employee benefits and coordination of open enrollment meetings.

Support the HR Director in creating, maintaining, and implementing HR policies and procedures.

Performance Management:

Facilitate the performance review process by providing tools, guidance, and training for managers and employees.

Compliance and Training:

  • Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
  • Conduct or facilitate background checks and employee verifications.

HR Meetings and Employee Engagement:

Plan and support HR meetings, including new hire orientations, terminations, and company-wide events.

Regulatory Compliance and Best Practices:

Stay current with compliance regulations, industry trends, and HR best practices.

Participate in HR process improvement initiatives to enhance department efficiency and effectiveness.

General HR Support:

Address employment-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Director.
