About the Opportunity: A subacute facility is seeking a Interim Director of Nursing to join their practice. You will be responsible for resident care management, operations management of the unit so that goals and objectives are developed, and individual staff members on your unit. You will also provide administrative insight and assistance in the development, organization, implementation and evaluation of the clinics’ operations. This position will ensure that all nurses are providing high-quality, effective, and safe care to patients of all ages.


The base pay for this position is $100 per hour. The actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of the offer. This is a true temp-to-perm role; you can gain access to company benefits, paid time off, and more perks once you transition


Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative oversight to the daily operations of the outpatient clinics
  • Ensures standards of patient care through Quality Assurance monitoring
  • Addresses staff issues involving all healthcare and non-clinical personnel
  • Assists with planning and in-service trainings for all staff members
  • Provides ongoing performance evaluation, guidance and the development of all nurses
  • Ensures smooth daily operations and progress towards established goals
  • Plans and operates all aspects of the clinics’ needs within approved budget
  • Keeps open communication with staff and provides opportunity for growth and development
  • Holds and leads staff meetings for each clinic when necessary
  • Promotes patient satisfactions and handles escalated issues or inquires
  • Supports the mission and philosophy of the health center


Qualifications:

  • NJ RN License
  • BLS Certification
  • Minimum of 7-10 years experience in a supervisory capacity
  • Bachelors is required, Masters is preferred
