Job Title: Accounting Manager/Business Administrator

Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our growing team. As an Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in managing the financial operations of our company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all accounting tasks. You will supervise and lead a team of accountants, oversee month-end and year-end closings, and ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  1. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
  • Supervise the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly.
  • Process payroll in a timely manner.
  1. Cash Flow Management:
  • Manage cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance with company policy.
  • Ensure adequate controls are in place over receipts and disbursements of funds.
  1. Team Leadership:
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accountants and financial professionals.
  • Ensure a high level of accuracy and timeliness in their work.
  1. Process Improvement:
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency of the accounting department.
  • Streamline accounting processes using technology and automation where possible.
  1. Financial Analysis:
  • Conduct thorough analyses of financial data and provide insights to management.
  • Assist in strategic financial planning and decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven work experience as an Accounting Manager or Controller.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Experience with creating financial statements and financial reporting.
  • Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes.
  • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
