At Chromatech, we create color solutions in a wide variety of markets around the globe. You can become part of our Chromatech team by joining as a Regulatory Affairs Specialist. The right candidate will leverage their experience, research/analytical skills, and personal drive to help navigate teams through regulatory landscapes, as well as provide the needed information and resources throughout our organization.  


Responsibilities


  • Executing day-to-day execution of regulatory topics by capturing, documenting, organizing, tracking, completing, and communicating action items in a timely manner. 


  • Understanding, researching, and communicating regulatory responses customer/internal regulatory requests by drafting professional responses for the needed parties.


  • Analysis and updating of raw materials and finished products within the Chromatech Portfolio.


  • Authoring of Safety Data Sheets associated with Chromatech products in accordance with established local and global guidelines. Maintain updated vendor SDSs, liaising with suppliers as needed to obtain the needed data associated with purchased materials.


  • Compiling and cataloging regulatory information, vendor/customer contacts, customer/internal requests, and research utilizing current or best practices. Maintain the current knowledge base of existing/emerging regulations and standards related to company operations and products. 


  • Communicating and acting as a liaison between Chromatech and Chromatech Europe’s Regulatory Team, sharing relevant information with the broader teams as needed.


  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams by researching the regulatory components of markets & opportunities, as well as ensuring regulatory compliance is maintained within the broader organization action.



Qualifications


  • BS in chemistry, regulatory affairs, industrial hygiene, or demonstrated relevant experience (Copy of Certificate and all related Certificates are required)


  • 2-5 years of professional experience in chemical regulatory affairs (with preference given to 5+ years). Graduate level coursework in regulatory fields will be considered.


  • Proven knowledge and experience with global registrations, GHS Classification/Labeling, SDS generation, and completing customer regulatory requests. Experience regulatory software databases, EPA/FDA topics, IATA, DOT, and IMDG is desirable.


  • Possess excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills when dealing with Chromatech Staff, Customers, Suppliers and Government / Regulatory Agencies and Vendors.


  • Project management experience and skills, compiling internal and external information to manage customer requests and product information management.


  • Must have excellent internet research proficiency.


  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc), and have the ability to learn and navigate new database/ERP/software systems.
