Overview

ALjAN Packaging, a Division of McAdams Graphics, is looking for a highly motivated salesperson with experience in the Flexible Packaging and Custom Label industry who is driven to succeed and is results orientated. Leading with our family-oriented philosophy, we provide brands with cost-effective packaging that helps our customers’ products stand out on the shelf. From labels, flexible packaging, and accessories. We need you to find new customers

Responsibilities

  • New Business Build an active pipeline by managing the overall sales funnel from lead generation activities to close business deals.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and revenue targets.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability AND client satisfaction.
  • In addition to acquiring new customers, nurture and grow existing client sales.
  • Work closely with various departments, including Customer Services, Estimating, Scheduling, and Production, to provide outstanding customer service to existing and new customers.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows to gain industry insights and new business leads,
  • Update Leadership on business trends and/or developing new services, products or distribution channels you see in client and industry engagement.
  • Submit weekly progress reports and accurately manage CRM data accurately.
  • New Business Development

Skills and Experience needed:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Min 3 years proven Sales experience in flexible packaging industry including premium labels, roll stock, sleeving and pouches.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of the flexible packing industry, materials, markets and competition. Recycling and sustainability knowledge/experience a plus.
  • Highly motivated salesperson who is driven by results and success.
  • Organized and detail orientated.
  • Strong work ethic but likes to have fun as well.
  • Great communication, negotiation, and value selling skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team cross-functionally internally and externally.
