Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as an Education Curriculum &Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, enhancement, and management of the brand's education products and projects, ensuring they align with company objectives and meet the needs of our customers. This position will also collaborate with the marketing department ensuring we meet deadlines and needs of marketing for education products, and events, as well lead the collaboration on the Pro Newsletter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic planning and execution of education product development initiatives, including course curriculum, training materials, and certification programs.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote education programs and drive course enrollments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including education, marketing, sales, and product development, to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs in the fitness education industry.
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and timelines, tracking progress and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Work closely with subject matter experts and instructional designers to create engaging and effective educational content for our programs.
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners to leverage resources and expertise for product development and delivery.
- Define and implement processes and procedures to streamline product development and project management workflows.
- Evaluate the performance and effectiveness of the education products and programs, soliciting feedback from stakeholders and making recommendations for improvement.
- Stay informed about industry best practices, standards, and regulations related to fitness education and certification.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, education, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in project management, or a related role, preferably in the fitness industry.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions.
- Passion for fitness and a commitment to promoting health and wellness through education.
