We are currently in search of a skilled Percussion Educator to join our team as a PART-TIME instructor, delivering engaging music and performance lessons to our diverse student body.

As a Percussion Educator at Bach to Rock, you will utilize our comprehensive curriculum to inspire students and foster a well-rounded musical education. By incorporating familiar and beloved music, you will guide students in developing their skills in performance, recording, and even composition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct private and semi-private lessons using the Bach to Rock curriculum and cover song arrangements.
  • Create a supportive, enjoyable, and focused learning environment.
  • Evaluate students' readiness to participate in bands or ensembles.
  • Support school events and activities.
  • Perform equipment maintenance as needed and within your capabilities.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated understanding of music concepts with the ability to effectively communicate these to students.
  • Advanced knowledge of music theory and techniques relevant to percussion.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to keep students engaged during lessons.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with diverse personalities.
  • Proven performance experience, whether solo or in groups.
  • Experience working with youth and beginner musicians.
  • Effective interaction skills with both children and adults.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check.
