Our client, a leading life sciences company, is seeking a customer-oriented Client Service Specialist to join their team


Pay: $22- 24.75/hr

Type: Ongoing W2 Contract

Location: Cobb Place Blvd, Kennesaw, GA


Responsibilities:

  • Act as the customers' advocate and manage all aspects of customer communications within the assigned territory.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with various departments within the company (including lab scientists, marketing, order fulfillment, shipping, outside sales, and direct teams) to meet customer needs.
  • Serve as the main contact for all aspects of customer order fulfillment, including sales, technical support, entering and following up on sales quotes, customer service, CRM data entry, as well as pre and post-sales marketing activities.
  • Input, approve, and update customer data in ERP (Sage) and CRM (Salesforce) systems.
  • Manage a territory that includes international distributors and global teams, as well as domestic (US) customers.
  • Take charge of lead management, follow-up, and opportunity closing throughout the territory.
  • Participate in business process improvement groups and contribute to driving change throughout the organization.
  • Travel, including overnight stays, may be required to attend trade shows and conferences.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in life science and/or a business-related field.
  • 1+ years of previous experience in account management, marketing, sales, or customer service.
  • Familiarity with order management/ERP software such as Sage, SAP, etc.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
  • Customer-focused attitude.
