Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Estate Planning Paralegal who is passionate about helping clients plan for the future. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of estate planning, probate, and trust administration processes and will be able to work independently while managing a diverse caseload.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in preparing and drafting estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives.
  • Conduct client interviews and gather necessary information for estate planning and probate matters.
  • Prepare and file probate documents, manage estate administration, and ensure compliance with court deadlines.
  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda as needed.
  • Maintain and organize client files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, and other parties to provide updates and gather necessary information.
  • Assist with trust administration, including the preparation of trust accountings and distributions.
  • Coordinate and manage estate planning seminars and client workshops.
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
  • Paralegal certification or degree from an accredited institution.
  • Strong understanding of Arizona estate planning laws and probate procedures.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and estate planning software.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism and client service orientation.
