Special Event Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a special event manager with 5 or more years of experience for a contract opportunity for a well-established non profit organization. This position is hybrid in New York, NY. This is a great role that offers the opportunity to work with a results-oriented and dedicated team.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify venues, vendors, speakers, and content.
  • Manage invitation and RSVP process (including invitation lists, invitation design, registration, seating, etc.).
  • Help plan and implement in-person and virtual events, including researching event location/venue and day-of-event logistics.
  • Assist in the negotiation of contracts with vendors and event contributors and manage implementation of contracts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to plan and administer multiple projects.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Meticulous organizational, project management, and time management skills.

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience

Employment Type: 6 month contract

Compensation: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
