Azure Solutions Architect

Looking for a strong Azure Solutions Architect who has the ability to design, implement, and administer Azure-based solutions to meet the organization’s business and technical requirements. In this role you would be leading the charge in migrating systems from a local environment to an Azure based system while maintaining security, reliability, and performance. Must be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and define cloud architecture strategies.


This role is direct hire. It also requires that you be able to work onsite 4- days a week in Marietta, GA. Benefits include company paid health insurance, a pension, 401K and much more

Other responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining Azure infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance on Azure best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Conduct regular system audits and implement optimizations for cost efficiency.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in solution architecting.
  • Needs to have a strong understanding of cloud computing principles and best practices.
  • Proven work experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role working in hybrid or multi-tenant cloud environments.
  • Proven experience in DevOps practices and Continuous Integration / Continuous Deliver (CI/CD) pipelines, automation, and scripting.
  • Proven ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and translate business needs into detailed systems designs.
  • Proven experience conducting regular system audits and implementing optimizations for cost efficiency.
  • Proficient with Azure cloud-based administration.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

SKILLS:

  • Have effective oral and written communication skills; people skills for interaction with various employees/groups.
  • Experience with hybrid cloud environments and migrations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, provide “situational” leadership and work collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated ability to appropriately manage confidential information.
  • The ability to keep abreast of emerging technology/industry trends in the cloud as it relates to the position and propose new patterns and standards as required.
