Call Center Representative

One of Insight Global's healthcare clients is looking for several Call Center Representatives to support their team onsite in Cypress, CA. This is a 3-6 month contract-to-hire opportunity, fully onsite in Cypress, CA. In addition to working with a highly successful company, this opportunity will also offer training and career growth


Position: Call Center Representative

Duration: 3-6 month contract-to-hire

Compensation: $18-20/hr

Location: Fully onsite in Cypress, CA

Shifts: 40 hours/week; variable within operating hours, M-F, 8am-5pm, potentially weekend work


Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of customer service experience
  • 1+ year experience in an office setting environment using a telephone and computer
  • An education level of at least a High School Diploma or GED
  • Authorization to work in the United States
  • Available to work 40 hours per week anytime within operating hours including weekends
  • Great people skills and an eagerness to help
  • Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer platforms


Day-to-Day Responsibilities :

  • Taking inbound calls from existing consumers regarding account balances, card activation, application status, etc.
  • Handling and researching issues over the phone
  • Using computer databases to verify and document information


Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

  • Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, long periods working at a computer
  • Service center environment with moderate noise level due to Representatives talking, computers, printers and floor activity.
