Sales Specialist

The Sales Specialist will collaborate with the Sales Manager to drive new business and manage event bookings. This role involves sales prospecting, business development, public relations, customer relationship management, event planning and coordination, logistics oversight, and revenue management. Key responsibilities include preparing proposals for clients and maintaining well-organized event records. A Table 3 Sales Specialist will build strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners to deliver innovative and unforgettable events, while meeting established sales quotas and budgets.


Key Responsibilities:


Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities to increase sales.
  • Build and manage both short-term and long-term client relationships.
  • Conduct regular meetings and facility tours with potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the management team to meet sales targets and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.

Event Planning & Coordination

  • Oversee all aspects of event planning, including logistics and contract management.
  • Coordinate event details with the Event Manager and Chef ensuring smooth execution and timely communication.
  • Create and revise event layouts and plans tailored to client needs.
  • Ensure all client information is accurately recorded in the Caterease system to manage selections and control costs.

Customer Relationship Management & Communication

  • Maintain excellent customer relations through clear and consistent communication.
  • Represent Table 3 Restaurant Group professionally, delivering a polished and articulate image.
  • Strive to exceed customer satisfaction, fostering loyalty and ensuring positive event experiences.
  • Provide clients, vendors, and internal teams with timely and accurate event details.

Other Requirements

  • At least 3 years of sales experience in event sales including corporate meetings, trainings, luncheons, weddings and other special occasions.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple tasks simultaneously and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills to consolidate event details and create actionable plans.
  • Experience using event management software (Caterease or similar).
  • Must be available weekends and off business hours to meet with prospective clients
