Building Automation Project Coordinator


Location: Seattle, WA


Job Overview: Join our team in vibrant Seattle, WA, as a Building Automation Project Coordinator, where you'll manage key projects that enhance the functionality and energy efficiency of building systems. This role focuses on overseeing the successful implementation and integration of building automation solutions, ensuring they meet client specifications and sustainability goals.


Responsibilities:


* Coordinate the lifecycle of building automation projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious execution from design to completion.

* Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to clarify project requirements and refine designs.

* Manage project teams, including technicians and subcontractors, to facilitate efficient installations.

* Conduct regular project meetings to maintain alignment and momentum among all participants.

* Maintain detailed documentation throughout the project, from initial agreements to final handover.

* Address technical issues swiftly, ensuring they are resolved to maintain project integrity and progress.

* Stay informed about the latest industry trends and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and leverage cutting-edge technology.


Qualifications:


* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

* At least 3 years of project coordination experience in building automation or a related field, demonstrating a solid track record in project management.

* Good understanding of building automation systems, particularly HVAC controls.

* Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project and AutoCAD.

* Strong communication skills, adept at team management and client interaction.

* Proactive problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.

* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus but not required.
