Role Description
This is a full-time role for an employment Associate Attorney. The employment Associate Attorney will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with employment litigation, such as conducting legal research, preparing and filing motions, attending hearings and depositions, and appearing in court as needed.
Qualifications
- Draft and analyze agreements
- Draft legal memorandum, complaints, discovery, and motions
- Legal research and analysis, legal writing, verbal communication, and client counseling
- Prepare and take depositions and attend mediations and arbitration from prep through completion
- Strong communication internally with the firm and externally with clients
- Work on employment law cases, including individual lawsuits
- Must have a working knowledge of the California Civil Procedure and discovery
- CA Bar license is required; New York bar license is a plus
- Two or more years of experience in Employment Law is required
