We are currently seeking a Primary Therapist to join our team at our Nashville, TN location. We offer detox and residential services at this location.

The Primary Therapist is responsible for performing a wide variety of patient care activities as directed by our local Clinical Director/Clinical Manager. He/she will be responsible for the care of assigned patients and will provide group, individual, and family therapies to assigned patients. This role will also collaborate with the Treatment Team in the development of the Master Treatment Plan and will assist in coordinating discharge planning, etc. In this role, you will be providing treatment/counseling to patients with varying levels of substance addictions. You will also work with patients who are addicted to a wide variety of substances. Recovery Unplugged provides high-quality care and counseling to help our patients change their addictive behaviors and become clean. If you have the appropriate qualifications for this role and are a compassionate person who has a passion for helping others, we would love to consider your for this role. Recovery Unplugged also prides itself on having a great culture and being a great place to work. We are dedicated to the success of our associates as we know this is the key to successfully caring for our patients.

Specific Qualifications:

  • LPC, LMFT, LCSW strongly preferred
  • Also open to LADC
  • ·Masters Degree in Counseling, Social Work or Related Field
  • ·State Licensing or Certification
  • Understanding of DSM-V Diagnoses preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and team work skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong passion for helping others
  • Experience in Substance Abuse Treatment preferred
  • Experience in individual and group counseling
