About the Role

Join our dynamic Biblioso team based in Bellevue, WA. This is a full-time, on-site role from Monday to Friday. Biblioso offers healthcare benefits and a competitive annual salary range of $68,640 to $74,880. This position is open only for direct hires and no third-party arrangements.


Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual for the role of Server Hardware and Coordination Specialist. This position involves gathering, creating, and maintaining training documentation for the data center, managing all aspects of laptops and peripherals, and overseeing technical aspects of onboarding new hires. The ideal candidate will have experience with server hardware, understand datacenter operations, and be able to image, set up, and provide post-setup support and maintenance for laptops. A car is required for transportation between different locations as needed.


Main Areas of Focus

  • Training Coordinator Tasks: Gather training materials from datacenter managers and leads. Create and maintain documentation needed to onboard and train newly hired technicians at the datacenter.
  • Technical Onboarding: Facilitate all technical aspects of onboarding new hires, including laptop setup, imaging, peripheral management, dissemination, tracking, and maintenance.
  • Travel: Visit datacenter locations during business hours to onboard new hires, gather training materials, and meet with managers and leads.


Key Responsibilities


Documentation and Training

  • Create and maintain online documentation, including video tutorials on tasks such as creating tickets and rack-related setups (for use in a hardware server datacenter).
  • Ensure all documentation is updated every 2-3 months to reflect current practices and procedures.
  • Oversee and keep training documentation current.
  • Coordinate already developed comprehensive training materials and schedules for new hires.


New Hire Onboarding & Travel

  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, particularly those from Biblioso.
  • Conduct campus tours, introduce new hires to team members, and provide an overview of team structures and products during the first week.
  • Facilitate shadowing opportunities for new hires to help them understand their roles.
  • Support new hires in becoming self-sufficient by the second week.
  • Assist with laptop setup and management for new hires, ensuring they have the necessary tools to succeed.


Communication and Coordination

  • Serve as a liaison between new hires, team members, and recruiters to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Assist recruiters with in-person testing evaluations and other related tasks to assess candidates' server hardware technical aptitude.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns.


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience contributing to team technical documentation.
  • Proven experience with server hardware, preferably in a datacenter.
  • Proven experience with laptop set up, configuration and imaging.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to create clear and engaging documentation, including video content.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with technical testing and evaluation processes.


Hardware Management

  • Manage all aspects of hardware setup and maintenance, including laptops, monitors, headsets, and other equipment.
  • Assist new hires with their hardware needs and ensure all devices are properly configured.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of hardware distribution, including dissemination during onboarding, collection during offboarding, maintenance, repair, transit, and exchanges.
  • Manage hardware inventory, organization, tracking, ordering, and loss prevention.


Must Have

  • A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable car for transportation purposes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a personable demeanor.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Proactive self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic work environment.

This dynamic role requires a collaborative attitude. While you will have specific duties, the entire team is responsible for the final delivery, which may occasionally involve taking on additional tasks outside your primary responsibilities. Adaptability and a willingness to contribute wherever needed are key to success in this environment.
