Senior Salesforce Applications Engineer - Remote, EST Timezone - $150K - $170K Base


A growing technology company in Massachusetts is seeking a Sr. Applications Engineer (Senior Developer) to join their Engineering team and champion their technical Salesforce roadmap as well as optimize their integrations with various systems including NetSuite.


This role requires a high degree of proficiency and knowledge of best Salesforce development practices as well as strong communication skills to partner with business stakeholders and align the technical roadmap with business needs and growth.


As a Sr. Application Engineer, you will use your technical expertise to solve challenges to better the efficiency of the Business System team and sales organizations alike. This role will be very cross-functional and have the opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders across sales, finance, legal, product engineering, systems, analytics and operations


Senior Salesforce Applications Engineer - Remote, EST Time Zone - $150K - $170K Base



What You’ll Do:

  • Working as a bridge between Go-To-Market and engineering teams, you will use customer input and sales information to design, develop, test and implement complex software programs and applications
  • Technically support and provide expertise to internal and external customers
  • Coordinating with internal customers to design and provide new features and enhancements to achieve business goals
  • Administering engineering activities of projects from conceptualization to implementation
  • Monitoring existing systems and recommending improvements by integrating new technologies


What You’ll Bring:

  • 5+ years of engineering / application development experience
  • Expertise in all facets of Apex development and knowledge of integration best practices
  • 2+ years supporting business critical applications (Salesforce, Netsuite, or equivalents).
  • Salesforce Development Required
  • Proven experience successfully delivering projects in Object Oriented Languages (Java, Python or similar)
  • Experience building or maintaining applications interacting with relational databases (SQL, MySQL, Oracle, or similar)
  • Demonstrated project management abilities providing estimates, delivering software, testing, and managing timelines and dependencies
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to effectively work with both technical and nontechnical groups alike
  • Is an adaptable team player who can juggle, manage and navigate multiple priorities
  • Experience in operations and monitoring of production systems a strong plus
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
